What happens if there is an outbreak on campus?
The University has clear guidelines and procedures on managing outbreaks of COVID-19 now that free community testing is no longer available and vaccination programmes have substantially reduced the severity of infection and hospitalisation resulting from COVID-19.
What control measures are on campus?
Control measures on campus have been reduced since the height of the pandemic, consistent with national guidance.
Almost all campus signs have been taken down, and one-way systems and face mask-wearing are no longer enforced. Protective screens remain in place at some reception counters.
Hand sanitising stations remain in place in many locations, and frequent handwashing is advised during the winter flu season or at times when Covid-19 case numbers are high.
