Reading Climate Festival: Uni events for all ages

12 June 2024

A graphic created for the Reading Climate Festival

The 色狗导航 is once again helping to deliver this year’s Reading Climate Festival, in partnership with Reading Climate Action Network, Reading Borough Council and many others.

Reading Climate Festival runs from 8-21 June, offering two weeks of free events to inspire collective action on climate change.

The University is leading on a number of events, including its flagship Show Your Stripes Day event on 21 June, which will bring the Reading Climate Festival to a close.

Professor Ed Hawkins MBE, climate scientist and creator of the warming stripes will feature in an ‘in conversation’ style event hosted by Tom Clarke, science and technology editor for Sky News. The topic will be what the stripes represent, how they have evolved and how they are driving awareness of climate change around the world.

This event will be held in-person and online. Booking for the in-person event is essential as space is limited.
