COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic

  • Dr Al Edwards (Pharmacy) is quoted in and about the accuracy of LFT tests.   
  • Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) spoke to LBC about LFT testing.  

#WeAreTogether: Reading’s work to tackle the coronavirus crisis

  • New research about the impact of the pandemic on MS patients’ mental health is covered in and , quoting Dr Aileen Ho (Psychology); and BBC Berkshire spoke to PhD researcher Hannah Morris-Bankole about the study. .
  • Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Parveen Yaqoob spoke to BBC Berkshire; and Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Julian Park spoke to about Government plans for full student return to campuses. 

 

New dementia treatments: Further coverage of research looking at potential new treatments for dementia and epilepsy in and ; and Dr Mark Dallas (Pharmacy) spoke to BBC Berkshire about the study. .
