COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic 

• Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) spoke to Russia Today and GB News about upcoming changes to Covid rules in the UK, and about breakthrough infections in those fully vaccinated.
• further reports on a study by Professor Rodney Jones (English Language and Linguistics), on the masculine language used by both Boris Johnson and Donald Trump during the pandemic to make them look like strong leaders.

Youth Day: Education student Ayishia Jones writes for the for International Youth Day, and reflects on her upbringing in Reading and some of the challenges and opportunities facing young people. In addition, a UoR student Hamnah spoke to BBC Berkshire about growing up in Reading and the work of the TVVRU.
