Baton relay:  reports that a baton will pass through the University today during its journey through eighteen countries before reaching its final destination in Egypt, where climate conference COP27 is taking place in November. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter Miskell (Education and Student Experience), was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire, Professor Ed Hawkins (Meteorology) was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire, and Visiting Professor Liz Bentley (Meteorology) was also interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire on each of their roles in the relay.
